A Question Blog Hop! YAY!

This is Memphis saying to me at the fair..."Mommy I have a bit of the flu bug but I'll kiss you on your cheek!"

I have always wondered the who, what, when, why and how's that people came to seek our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and if you don't have a personal relationship with him then why? There are so many that have seeked him through hardships (my hardships being stupid choices) such as myself! Others through their family and just being brought up with their Faith. So that's my question! You may not feel comfortable telling everyone but I don't know all my blog hopping friends and so you can spill it and run!

  1. Excellent question for some awesome reading it makes for you... =)
How: Sunday School & Church Services
When: As young as I can remember
Why: Our parents took us EVERY single Sunday morning!
BUT, later in life [1978] I turned away for a time... it's been a LONG journey... coming back to have a TRUE Relationship with Jesus. Each new day is better than the yesterdays =)

  2. Love this:
when I was 21 years old. I finally realized I needed to make my choice to follow Christ, my personal choice, not my parents.

I already Loved Jesus, I just needed to see my NEED for him. Once I humbled myself and asked him to be my Savior, it was like a light came on!

I don't believe in being religious. Being religious gives us a burden we cannot carry. A burden to "be good" and prove ourselves to God. But having a relationship with Christ says "there is nothing for me to do but TRUST because Christ has paid the price". I am righteous in Christ and that is such FREEDOM.

  3. This is a great idea for a question!

I grew up in church my whole life but didn't accept Jesus as my personal Saviour until I was 10 years old. And then because of alot of circumstances in my life since then it's been a hard road in my relationship with Him sometimes. But I know He's always faithful no matter what and I'm learning that I can just trust and lean on Him regardless of what else is going on.
Nice to 'meet' you through the blog hop!

  4. I have often been asked this question but honestly can't pinpoint a time in my life where Christ was not the center of my life or my Lord and Savior! He has ALWAYS been there in my life!

    PRAISE GOD!

    Blessings~

  5. My mom and dad taught me about God and I was sick one day when I was pretty young and my mom talked to me about inviting Jesus in to my heart. We prayed that day. :)

  6. This is my first visit to your blog. I love the title and opening picture.

I trusted Christ at six years of age at VBS. My parents were saved shortly after. I got more serious about my faith in college while attending a Bible study and then counseled at a Christian summer camp.
